Amanda Foster

Amanda focuses on assignments within the global Asset and Wealth Management sector. Based in London, she works with clients across traditional and alternative asset classes. Her remit includes senior-level searches including CEOs, CIOs, Heads of Asset Class, Chief Strategists, Directors of Research, Senior Sector Analysts and Heads of Distribution. Amanda works with many leading investment management firms, hedge funds, endowments, pension funds and family offices in their recruitment of investment, distribution and functional talent.

Recent Client Experience

Amanda's recent assignments include the CEO of a leading European institutional asset manager, the CIO of the largest Middle Eastern educational endowment and second largest such endowment in the world, the Heads of Investment for a leading European family office and a large Middle Eastern family office , the Head of International/Global Institutional Business Development for boutique and multi-product platforms and the CFO/CIO of a leading FTSE150 insurer.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2004, Amanda was an investment banker at N M Rothschild & Sons where she specialized in M&A. Her investment banking career spanned periods in both Europe and Asia. Prior to N M Rothschild & Sons, Amanda qualified as an accountant at PwC in London.

Education

Amanda received her B.Bus.Sc. (Honours) from the University of Cape Town. She is a chartered accountant (A.C.A.).
